You spoke to my heart, Alana. Denise and I were both preparing to preach today at two different churches. The church I am currently serving as a Transitional Minister is in the midst of some challenges. They are much different from me, actually both of us, theologically and politically yet I have been called to walk with them through this time of challenge and transition.

In my Ascension day sermon preparation I found myself both processing and letting go. Thank you for your continued sharing and inspiration. These words of Tennyson speak to where I am with my current calling and in my ministry in general.

Ring out false pride in place and blood,
   The civic slander and the spite;
   Ring in the love of truth and right,
Ring in the common love of good.

Blessings on your journey and it is a gift to be able to walk with you.

I love your performance of Ring Out Wild Bells. And I love your mystical musings concerning Christianity, the perennial philosophy, Sophia, and the wild Celtic view of spirituality.
